Baby & Child Paediatric First Aid - 2 day Course

About this course:

This 2 day course will provide delegates with the confidence to manage a range of injuries, medical conditions, and childhood illnesses including anaphylaxis, asthma, and meningitis.  This course meets the OFSTED & Sure-Start requirements for those working in care settings for the under 8's.  This course is highly participative, and allows delegates to discuss their own experiences and questions in an open and relaxed workshop fashion.  Delegates will have plenty of practice at resuscitation on adults, children and babies, along with the recovery position, and minor injuries.

What’s included:

Training usually runs over 2 days  and our trainers can accommodate up to 12 delegates on each course.  Delegates receive a free paediatric first aid manual.  On completion of this course, delegates will be awarded a certificate valid for 3 years.

Who should attend:

This course is suitable for novice first aiders, or for experienced first aiders as a skills update.
