Becoming a First Aid Instructor

 

If you are looking for a change in career, or looking to offer First Aid courses at your workplace, the SkillBase First Aid Instructor course is the just what you need.

 

Our unique course allows you to join a live First Aid at Work 3 Day course, for the first 3 days of your training.  During this period you will be a student tutor, and assist in training the course, and receiving tuition and experience in how to deliver first aid course elements.  There will be also sections of the course that you lead, giving you the experience of developing your skills with live delegates rather than a room of other instructors.  At the end of the 3rd day, you will actively participate in delegate assessments giving you experience in this area of expertise.

 

This course has the pre-requisite that you hold a current First Aid at Work, (or a nursing or paramedic ) qualification, and have other training experience.  

 

The forth days of the course will be a 1:1 session with your tutor mentor; and will cover the following subjects:
