Using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) 3½  hour course (includes Basic Life Support/CPR)

 

This 3 ½ hour course will give delegates the skills and knowledge to use an automated external defibrillator.  It also covers the skills they need to provide basic life support, or cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), to the standards laid down by the UK & European Resuscitation Protocols.

 

It is a highly participative course with a strong practical element.  Our trainers can accommodate up to 12 delegates on each course, but if delegates have not trained in AED before we would recommend that you keep to a maximum of 6.

 

This course includes; Basic life support: Adults, Babies & Children, How to use an automated external defibrillator, How to maintain an AED.  On successful completion, each delegate will receive a certificate of attendance, valid for 1 year.  

 

This course is available at your own workplace for groups.
